  • Any relevant certifications or achievements.

Our team uses this information to match you with the best placement opportunities within Join Momentum or our partner organizations.

HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?

We have the answers!

What is the Career Accelerator Placement (CAP) Program?

The CAP Program is a 6-month professional placement initiative designed to provide participants with hands-on experience by working on innovative projects. These projects can be showcased in portfolios and referenced in future job applications. CAP aims to bridge the gap between education and practical work experience, empowering participants to advance their careers.

Who is the program for?

The CAP Program is ideal for:

  • Recent graduates looking to gain practical work experience.
  • Career changers transitioning into new fields.
  • Job seekers aiming to build their portfolios and boost employability.
  • Professionals seeking to upskill and stay competitive in their industries.
  • Undergraduates who need professional/industry work experience as part of their academic requirements.
How soon can I start applying for jobs during or after my internship?

The time to become job-ready varies for each individual based on their personality, capacity, and effort. However, most participants who actively engage in the program, utilize resources, and focus on skill-building are typically market-ready within 8 to 12 weeks. Our program provides the support, training, and resources to help you confidently pursue job opportunities at your own pace.

Can I be guided if I am unsure which tech job role suits me?

Yes! Our programs are designed to expose you to various roles and assignments, helping you explore different career paths. You will receive a personalized roadmap with foundational principles and direction tailored to your goals. Additionally, our coaches and mentors are here to support you every step of the way.

What kind of projects will I work on?

Participants will work on real-world, industry-relevant projects in areas such as:

  • Technology (e.g., software development, AI, data analysis, data governance, cybersecurity, product management, etc)
  • Business and marketing (e.g., digital campaigns, strategy development)
  • Design (e.g., UX/UI, graphic design)
  • Customer success and operations

These projects are tailored to align with participants' career goals and desired industries.

How does the program help me secure a job?

The CAP Program prepares you for the job market through:

  • Hands-on experience with real projects to showcase in your portfolio.
  • Personalized mentorship from industry experts.
  • Professional development training, including resume building and interview preparation.
  • Networking opportunities with potential employers and industry leaders.
What if I need work references for my new job role?

We provide professional reference letters to support your job applications and career goals. Our process ensures you receive official references that highlight your skills and contributions effectively.

Is the program remote or in-person?

The CAP Program is fully remote. This allows you to collaborate with talented team members from around the world, giving you access to diverse perspectives and global opportunities.

What is the time commitment?

The CAP Program requires approximately 10-15 hours per week. This includes project work, mentorship sessions, and professional development activities. The flexible structure allows participants to manage their schedules effectively. For undergraduate students, the program can be adjusted to meet university placement requirements, with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week.

Are there other programs available if I can't commit to CAP?

Yes! Our Growth Academy platform offers job practice simulations, which you can start immediately. These simulations are designed to build your skills and confidence without the long-term commitment of the CAP Program.

What are the program fees and payment options?

The program tuition is £5,000. However, we offer a 70% discount for undergraduates and individuals from underrepresented communities, which means they only need to pay 30% of the tuition (£1,500). Participants can secure their placement with this initial payment, and we provide flexible payment plans to make the program accessible. Detailed payment options can be found on our enrollment page.

Why should I consider the Career Accelerator Placement Program?

Given the high volume of applications for 100% fully sponsored global digital internships, securing a spot is not guaranteed. Enrolling in the CAP Program provides a guaranteed placement, with added benefits such as:

  • Access to real-world projects.
  • Personalized mentorship and career support.
  • Flexible payment plans to suit your financial needs.
What is the enrollment process?

The enrollment process is simple and includes the following steps:

1. Choose a suitable payment plan. Review our flexible payment options and set up your plan.

2. Complete the Enrollment Form. Fill out the form to select your desired tech career role and provide your details.

3. Onboarding Interview. After completing payment and enrollment, our hiring team will schedule a remote onboarding interview to ensure alignment with our expectations.

4. Offer and Onboarding. Upon a successful interview, you will receive an offer and your onboarding schedule to start the program.

Are there any prerequisites to join the program?

While there are no strict prerequisites, participants should:

  • Have a basic understanding of the field they wish to pursue.
  • Be motivated to learn and commit to the program’s schedule.
  • Be open to receiving feedback and working in a collaborative environment.
Can I join the program while working a full-time job?

Yes, the CAP Program is designed to be flexible. Many participants balance the program alongside full-time or part-time work. The 10-15 hours per week commitment can be adjusted to suit your schedule.

What happens after I complete the program?

Upon completing the program, participants receive:

  • Verifiable certificate of accomplishment and work experience.
  • A comprehensive portfolio of work, you completed during the program.
  • Access to the alumni network for ongoing support and networking.
  • Support with work referencing and career advancement.
Can I choose the industry or projects I work on?

Yes, we make every effort to align your projects with your career interests and goals. During the application process, you will have the opportunity to indicate your preferences, and we’ll match you with relevant opportunities.

How does the CAP Program support visa applications?

Participants seeking to apply for UK work visas, such as the Global Talent Visa, can leverage the CAP Program for:

  • Relevant professional work references.
  • Portfolio development.
  • Personal branding and visibility, including opportunities to feature on our podcast.
  • Experience facilitating masterclasses within our Digital Natives Community. We also provide letters of recommendation to support visa applications upon request.
Do you partner with academic institutions?
